A Filthy New Guitar Day

I used to have the BC Rich Jr V Deluxe. With OFR also Kerry Kings autograph on the back of the headstock. EMGs, Neck -thru full binding everywhere.
That guitar slayed! I got rid of it and.... I've always wanted another, but... Prices have gone insane in the past few years...

Well like an idiot I was on Facebook Marketplace again!... Saw one of these come up, an hour south.
It's not the deluxe, it's the IT (invisabolt) version, where they made the headstock on both ends of the neck and then that becomes the joint to mount the neck into the body, looks cool, never really caught on.

This is the dirtiest guitar I've ever seen... I blew the dust off of it in the parking lot . You can see in this video how filthy it is.

I gave it a bath, new Skinny bottom Beefy top strings, straploks, cleaned it about 3x actually. I need to order a cavity cover and truss rod cover for it and that's it.

I set it up and Tuned it up and I am pretty happy to have another BC Rich Jr V again.... It feels spectacular! String thru, EMG Het Set. Ebony board, jumbo frets,

I'm going to plug it in and see what kind of tones this EMG Het Set will produce.

Here she is all cleaned up and ready to rock.

One of the coolest takes on a flying V design IMO, how the wing tips are thinner and elongated, looks more like a deadly spider or something. I also think the headstock actually works pretty well with it. Gorgeous guitar.

what is the neck profile like?

Agree. I think they are elegant and wicked, both.

Neck profile is thin-ish. There's a hint of flatness to the middle back. Not quite Jackson/wizard thin. It's sleek and silky, and it's Maple!
It's almost identical in contour to my Gibson faded V neck. But much smoother in feel.

That's really cool. I thought at first that the headstock shape on the body was just an esthetic design, but now I see that it is actually the neck bolt-on system. Very clever.
