A good deal?

there is a fender roc pro at a pawn shop not too far from here for $150 and i could probably talk them down from there.

it says it is a 100w amp but they are often wrong on these things at pawn shops.

and from what i have read elsewhere they are a solid state power amp with a tube preamp.

note: other listings seem to price this at 250-350, but it isn't worth saving money on a terrible amp.

anyone have any experience with these amps?

Re: A good deal?

for the money it is ok... as long as it works 100% for that price! But mind you i bought a Fender Stage 100 DSP head because it was a "real bargain" and i can't stand it... too noisey for me... and when you add the DSP effects it drops in volume... The Roc Pro may be a better amp then the Stage but even if it is steal are you really going to use it? My Stage i have tucted away waiting to use as a trade in on something if i see anything i want.... just a waiting game until it's gone.

Re: A good deal?

I considered buying a rock pro but apparently if they bust they're hard as hell to fix...so consider that.
