Re: a good noise gate for a strat
What they mean is to connect like this:
1.Guitar into Sentry Input.
2.Sentry Send into OD/Distortion pedals Input.
3.OD/Distortion pedals Output into Amp Input.
4.Amp FX Loop Send to Sentry Return
5. Sentry Out to Mod/Delay/Reverb pedals Input
6.Mod/Delay/Reverb pedals Out to Amp FX Loop Return.
Connect the cables in that pattern & you will be able to use your modulation/delay/reverb in the fx loop of your amp. The gate will stop noise from the guitar, overdrive/distortion pedal & your amp's preamp while the delay, mod, reverb wont be getting noise into them as well and wont be gated, otherwise having a gate after the delay or reverb can cut repeats abruptly at extreme settings.
