I realize you may think I am trying to push a site that I own but that is not true. I am just a member who thinks you will enjoy it as much as I do.
that's my profile you can get into online mixed recording sessions with others. Your profile allows you to upload uncompressed music files- .wavs for example so they don't sound like crap and it seems there are isnt a set number of songs that you are allowed to upload. It is a fairly new site and was created by a guy who used to live in the the town next to mine (that town is Madison, CT). Even if you arent into collaborating online it is still a great place to keep a portfolio. They have a premium account but you would only need that if you REALLY got into the online collaboration thing.
Check out my music while you were there and if you sign up add me as a contact so we can record something sometime.
