a guitar which would be good for all styles! with seymour duncan

Re: a guitar which would be good for all styles! with seymour duncan

You Brits don't get our Yankee wit do you?

Incorrect, sir. I find some of what some of you people write highly amusing. (I venture that forum members from the more southern colonies may be offended at being described as Yankee. Arf, arf!)

My comment was dripping in sarcasm due to the endless solid state/valve arguments on this board.

Really? Show everybody the drips, bro.

Your original line was, "Why a valve amplifier?" That isn't even a sentence. It does not contain a verb. Perhaps, it was just toooooooooo deadpan.

As a general rule, if one has to explain a witticism after having delivered it, it has failed.

Have a nice day. Calm yo' wits.

My 07 PRS Custom 24 with the 5 way rotary fits the bill well.
Other guitars may sound better on specific things but nothing else come close as a do anything passably well on the fly on stage guitar!
I like the unique voice of the guitar with the stock HFS/VB pickups on it's own merits also so for me it's a big time overall win.

There are many formulas for building a versatile guitar. There are many guitars that can do it all, each having its own flavour in tone and feel. Making one guitar that can fully impersonate all the others is impossible.

i haven't found a better sound in neck like a les paul or a sg or PRS custom, mac carty? (i haven't used PRS) so, i would like to have a
sg with a floyd and 3 pickups
or a les paul with 3 pickups and floyd to make some Satch effects!
but sg/les paul with a floyd is hard to find

les paul axcess is expensive! but epiphone les paul pro fx would be good
