so i started a new build
someone told me, the the craziest ideas, are the best
and i had this idea a long time ago lets see what i mean

first i started to build the mid console

the idea is to make the mid console higher than the rest of the guitar so here is the top

so here it is welded up

i painted it black ..... BUT i will give it a battleworn finish like the guitar in the last picture Why... because i want to see that it is made out of metal
and i like it rough

I kinda like the two tone concept with the raised center console, but there's still something undeniably cool about the transition from solid to holey machining design on the lower tele.

Those are really awesome! I am curious how they sound... Do they resonate like wood? Any feedback issues? How much do they weigh?

I think those are sexy! Have you ever considered a graphite neck/fretboard? I think their aesthetic and material would suit your design.
