Hey Kev! Didn't know you had released a CD for human consumption but I did go to your Soundclick webpage and ordered a copy as soon as I read this thread. I've always dig'd your sound from past clips I've heard of yours....glad I'm gonna have a full disc of Kev-Tone!
Congrats on the amp! I, too, remember not too long ago when these SF Fender's were going for a song and also wish I had jumped on one then. I was too busy being on a honeymoon with a newly acquired 60 watt solid state Johnson Marquis modeling amp, thinking that was the end-all.....until I plugged into a Fender tube amp for the first time.

Funny how that Johnson has been sitting in a corner for however-long-it's-been-since-buying-my-first-tuber.....:scratchch

I remember was modeling was the future....lol I have since gone to the prehistoric times..... Although, I love the POD for bass, all I use these days.

Re: A new member of the family!! A 1968....

Is that a Bassman 50, 70 or 100?

I went in a local shop yesterday for the 1st time in a while and he had a stack of Silverface Bassman heads: A 50, a 70 and a 100.

Depending on the prices, I was considering picking 1 up :)
