hi to every one,i have my house about 15 years ago and while reflooring a back room that served as a storage catch all when we moved in,after clearing the room and closet,i found the seymour duncan amp still in the unopened box it came in.i plugged in and was amazed at the quality of the tone.its a keeper but does anyone what they cost new or worth?love the amp and now my vox vt30 is sitting in the closet.cant understand why seymour stopped making these.

Welcome! No idea of the worth, and I don't know why they were discontinued. A mate has a 1x12 combo, not sure of the wattage, but I'm guessing in the neighborhood of 50 watts. It is a great sounding amp!

Cool score. I've never played any of the Duncan amps from that series, only the ones with modular preamp sections.

That's kind of nice that you found an amp that's more to your liking than the one you were currently using.

Because of the new old stock condition with original box, it's probably worth around $400 in today's market. It would be worth considerably less if it wasn't in perfect condition.

thanks for your replys.the closest amp it sounds like is my old 61 fender twin,i have retired it because its to heavy to move around.afew years ago i was on my roof (a two story)reparing a leak during a storm and got blown off the dam roof,i shattered 8 vertabre in lower back and 3 in neck, had to fuse em all and use 6 metal rods.so now i try to relearn guitar but now i love makeing them.i live in hawaii i have access to some great electric guitar,my fav is 2"curly mango and koa.i make everything by hand and love doing it.i even worked on kris kristofferson accoustic guitars, like refretting and restoring.i enjoy that kind of stuff.i get to meet and play some big time guitarist guitars when the stop and stay awhile on maui, even ozzy ozbourn,i like him but dont understand a word he says.aloha

Hang in there with the relearning. A mate up in Wisconsin went through something a bit less severe with his back, and he has had to make some adjustments to his guitar playing. He has made progress!
