OMG, that would be awesome! I've always wondered why they never revisited the "Maxxas" idea.
As a longtime Ibanez person, I think they're intensely practical about which models may get reissued; if the original numbers were more meh, less likely. It would probably take an artist with a lot of pull.
Would they dumb down a reissue? Don't know. They might add a multi-ply neck, like they do with the Genesis 550, 510 hardware, some different pups; Ibanez never does 1:1 when reissuing something. For an MX3, of course, it has to be semi-hollow, and they'd all have to have the deep set aanj. I guess at this point, on reflection, with all that it would be a Prestige level instrument

The Maxxas was essentially a concept guitar anyway. The Jem being introduced in the same year overshadowed it and other stuff, arguably.
