...I recorded one of my funk riffs to test out my new DAW. I'm not at all good at red light playing or producing, but I'm learning. I'm noticing that the lead guitar is way too loud, too much mids, and that I find it hard to able to relax and just play when I know I'm on tape.

First take, done in one hour. Cort M800 guitar trough Marshall 5210, Crafter bass trough Yamaha 50 bass amp. EZ Drummer drums. hope you like it :)

Mhmm it had a jazzy feel at times with your choice of notes, and I gotta say there were a bunch of licks I really dug in there!

Re: A quick funk jam...

Added another track... Morning Evening. Me on drums :p

I think I dig the fact your playing in these tracks occasionally give an almost cheeky "I'm having fun and you can't stop me, nyah nyah" vibe, LOL. Great work, Erlend!

Yeah, you all know we sound best while jamming at home, when we think no one hear us. I try to forget that I'm putting my music on the internet, to eliminate the factor of being sellout. Isn't that cool :p

On a more serious note, I've put out some more stuff now, and I'll be uploading another track tonight. This will be more produced and serious music. Spooky.

Thanks for listening!
