A showcase.

That's what this place really is.

Think about it. This is a place for famous pick-ups.
Any big name guitar player/producer or the like could easily find their way into the SD site and into the forums and into the 'tips and clips'.

If they just happen to listen to the likes of Nuntius - they may well be that impressed they just may want to work with him or for his band to play support on a Brit tour.

One day I'm absolutely convinced that someone in this forum (who may not have even posted clips yet) will get a huge career break by posting their stuff here.

My advice is : Post as much stuff as you can. Show your versatility. Present with a good attitude.

I really mean this, that people like Nuntius could well get a break into the bigtime from this very forum.

Think about it - it's not as crazy as it seems.

yeah, this place is probably seen as where alot of the "players" are.......i mean this in a general way in that most of the people came here because there well enough into their guitar journey that they wanted to kick their tone up a notch with some better pickups........ if i were a producer or talent scout lookin around on the internet......id be checkin places like this where guitarists actually have a goal of what they want and not just some public music forum where anybody and everybody could be hangin out

although your thought here is a bit chancy and involving alot of luck and the proverbial "right place at the right time" idea, i could definately see it happening wit the type of players we got here....

I think it's highly possible that someone with some pull would check out various sites searching for new talent. I'm sure it's done all the time in this day and age. Would they ever come here? It's possible, if a forum member who's in the industry heard something here that he thought would be of interest.
