T... Unfortunately with this Strat you have to take away the neck in order to take off the pickguard, which is quite annoying.

Huh? Why is that? Is the pickguard going under the overhang for the 22nd fret?
If mine did that I would have sanded/routed/whatever the heck out of it until it has a correct fit. There's nothing more frustrating than not being able to do a simple change without disassembling the guitar!

As for the knobs: indeed. I like the looks of those knobs which is why the guitar has three of them. I don't like Strat knobs so much with her current look. And yeah dunno why I can't take off the 'guard. I can on the pickguard'd Charvel. This one just won't come off until I take off the neck though
