hi
my ehx small stone is good but i know it will be good to have a brighter sound
more stages
more sounds

have you tried the tc helix phaser? with the app
or source audio lunar phaser ? there is an app too

i read a comment : the helix won't be as warm as an analog phaser
but i want more sounds

i was playing with the zoom ms 50 g

i look for some sounds

reverse phaser
2 phasers together
2, 4, 8 , 12 stages phaser
wrap phaser

The Helix phaser is pretty remarkable with the app. I can't imagine you couldn't find your sound with that- it has everything.

What Mincer said, it's hard to beat the new TC pedals with the Toneprint if you want a lot of different sounds.

I use a PH-3 for anything my MXR EVH can't do.

Not seeing where "2 phasers together" would work? You mean where one starts and then the 2nd comes in shortly after, or one is at the top of the shift while the other is at the bottom and they weave? You'd end up with for-real phase cancellation.

You could always get 2 phasers and put a delay between them for the first concept, but if you're looking for one going up while the other's going down, unless you're running a stereo rig, you're going to get phase cancellation again.

If you are running a stereo rig, you'll want a panning phaser.

Reverse phase sounds like forward phase, but not in reverse.

I think the Line6 M-series (M5, M9, M13) has a stepped phaser type of thing where the shifts are more mechanical, like robot chatter.

The BOSS 12-stage phaser is just about the best you'll find in a single-function unit. Other than that, you're looking at programmable units like the Line6 M-series.

I am not sure I could tell if a phaser was analog or not, as digital has gotten so good. I'd also 2nd the suggestion of the Line6 M-series. The phasers are one of the standout effects on those.
