A4 vs A5 in Seth Lover Neck

My ES-335 currently has a stock 57 classic in the bridge and a stock Seth Lover neck... I want to transform it into a rawk 335, so I am swapping the bridge pickup with a Whole lotta Humbucker, and maybe swapp the magnet in the seth Lover to an A4 or A5.... (it still is a little bit dark for my tastes with the A2--- which one would match up better with the WLH?

Will an A5 seth be brighter than an A4 seth? I would use the A5 but from researching previous threads it seems like people vastly prefer A4.

I'd go with the a4, it's more balanced. The a5 is brighter but also has a bigger bottom end that can be boomy in the neck of short scale guitars

Remember the ultimate recipes here: A8 bridge - A4 neck (rock), UOA5 bridge - A3 neck (vintage). You can't go wrong.

A4, without question, I have most of my Seth's with A4's. What Jeremy said is right on. For the bridge of a WLH, I would leave it alone as I have heard nothing but great things about it.

Bah! A PAIR of SuperDistortions or we revoke your man card.

In all seriousness, I'm currently rawking a JB/Jazz combo in a Dot Studio and loving' it!
