What Humbucker's did Slash used in Use Your Illusion 1 Tour and the song Neither Can I and I Hate Everybody But You in Slash's Snakepit band.
In snakepit band there is bluesy warm sustained sound. And In Use your Illusion Tour I'm so impressed the tone of Godfather Theme that is so powerful natural warm sound. I will buy a Ibanez sz520 feature mahogany body and what do i use on it to get those sounds ?

if im not wrong, Alnico 2 Pros in both neck and bridge.

Yeah. His recording Les Paul was built by a custom maker, and SD Alnico 2 Pros have been used since the beginning as far as I know.

I'm not familiar with that particular model, but I've not seen an Ibanez that is similar to a Les Paul. I think there are better guitars to get tone closer to Slash's.

Yeah I've got a Guitar Legends with Slash's interviews over the last 20 years and with the exception or real deal PAFs he's used the Alnico 2 Pro pretty exclusively.

I just looked up that guitar model, and that's not going to be in the same neighborhood as Slash's Les Paul tone. You're going with a multi-lam neck (for better or ill), thinner maple top, thinner mahogany body, double cutaway, different scale length, and string thru.

Honestly I'd be looking at a Godin, Import Hamer, or Epi LP if I had to have something new. If you would be fine with something used a studio might could be sniped for just a bit more.
