Vasshu the humanoid typhoon
Unseen
Well yesterday I returned my Tokai strat back to normal, three singlecoils.
The trem was also returned back to normal some months back.
I grew up with a strat, I deeply rooted in that instrument.....
My Kramer and Wolfgang have the same scalelength, but their fingerboards are flatter, it helps on some aspect of the playing, but it also disconnects me from something else....my roots.
I figured out today that I need a standart strat to keep myself real, it is my base.
Hehe it made me feel abit silly today, because I have been deeply annoyed with my innotation lately....slightly off when playing for some months now, and it has driven me insane, because my ears are normally pretty good.
Then I realised that I had cut myself off from my baseinstrument...my strat.
It is a very rhythmical instrument to me, it just makes me lock into a groove right away, it is my main guitar in a manner.
So I changed it back to normal, changed all my guitars back to 0.10's again.
I put on some music that I wanted to learn.....and for the first time in a long time...no troubles!!
So maybe a baseinstrument is more important than we may think!
Mine is a beatup old 84 Tokai strat that looks like a heap of trash
But it plays great....and you'll get some new clips soon I guess
And more power to Nuntius
