About tuning and sound...

I was wondering if a different tuning (let´s say Eb) make you sound different when playing the same note. I mean, maybe the "A" note of the 6th string (for example) sounds "darker" if you are tunned in Eb or D than in E, because the string having less tension on it.

Is that right or...?

You wanna use thicker strings if you tune down.

No big difference I would say... the difference is much bigger if you play:
A|-0----------
instead of
E|-5----------
(which is the same A)
