AC15H1TV - For those who want to really hear what it sounds like

I've taken a lot of time off from recording due to some career advances I needed to make and some domestic responsibilities, but today I'm stuck indoors, it's snowing in CT already (Happy Halloween...pfft) and I'm thinking this is as good a time as any to get my feet wet again.

So, for those of you who check out clips online and want to really know how amps sound you're really at the mercy of who's posting the clips (provided you can't find a dealer nearby to really check out the amp). This is as accurate as you're going to find online. I've spent years saving up for some pro recording gear and this is an accurate reflection of what these things sound like.

So, without further ado... we've got a Vox AC15H1TV stock (Celestion Blue speaker) and the guitar is my lovely PRS Hollowbody Spruce w/ Gibson Classic '57s - any change in overdrive or cleans are merely from the ampifier itself and nothing is boosting it (although the signal is going through my entire pedalboard rig, but the Cornish buffer pretty much eliminates that). There are 2 mics being used: a Shure SM57 and a Royer R121. Preamp is an API 3124+, cables are some custom ones I've made out of low capacitance Belden, and conversion is courtesy of an Apogee Ensemble. It was mixed in Logic Pro with no added effects except a 1 db boost on the master bus, it was recorded at 96k and bounced down to .wav for Sound Cloud. I haven't spent really any time "mixing" the 2 mic'd tracks, I pretty much set up the mics to where they seemed to complement each other decently and pressed "record".

Please don't mind the playing as I had no idea what to really throw up so I started noodling with some cowboy chords. At some point I'll eventually get to the point where I'll have some real solo music up again (I've written a lot of stuff in the past year, I've just never finished up some bits and pieces).

Enjoy!

I'm not in a position to listen but once I do I will certainly give it a shot. And then flood you with questions. The handwired model is definitely on my wish list.
