acoustic b200H for clean jazz

I recently sold my fender deluxe reverb RI and bought an acoustic b200h bass head, got an old orange cone JBL car speaker 12", put it in a custom birch cab with tweeter. Sounds better than my deluxe reverb for less than half the price for clean tones, and the EQ/notch control is fantastic for getting loads of tones.

Fell out of love with tube amps completely. I'm louder, cleaner, more articulate, lighter, no maintenance, and I have the option to thump low notes hard through the bass amp. Just food for thought. A good compressor pedal goes a long way as well.

So for all you broke jazz players, no need to go polytone, get a small bass amp and a reverb unit and you're golden and giggable.

sounds like a neat idea. i have a hard time with cleans on electric guitars and amps. they just don't sound quite right to me. i would rather play my acoustic when i want a clean sound, and leave the electrics for rocking out.
