Acoustic guitar compressor pedal

Anyone have any ideas? I am using a cheap Danelectro right now, but there has to be something better that sounds great for acoustic guitar. Generally, I am going for a slightly different sound than the strummed acoustic- I tend to play single note melodies or arpeggios and loop them, and add more on top, canon-like. I also tend to play pretty quietly, so a compressor evens the levels...soo, let me hear some ideas!

I've heard nothing but good things about the Keeley Compressor. You see it on a lot of boards.

Re: Acoustic guitar compressor pedal

For my acoustic guitars, I'm using the latest version of the Boss compressor on a Furman pedalboard. I use VERY small amounts of compression.

I'm happy with the results. I have a Taylor, Martin and Ibanez guitars with various Fishman electronics.
