I go back and forth between DR Sunbeam (.12) and D'Addario EXP16 (.12). The strings aren't that similar tonally, and while I like both I only string up the Sunbeams when I know I'll be playing a lot of acoustic. The EXPs last longer so it's cheaper to use them if I'm not playing much acoustic. Similarly on the 12 string I go back and forth between EXP and DR Rare Phosphor/Bronze.

Wowsers man ,£45 :wrf:, that's as tad stiff to pay :angryfire, I have one one those Levi's too and yes they do look quite similar and are priced around the same price too .
Seems the Levi one is a bit better quality in the suede leather finish it's got , it's softer and more supple than the Fender but still the quality is there in the Fender's leather and the workmanship is really nice , it's going to last longer than me with proper care . I suppose it in time will " break in " and soften up some .
Want to go into the import export business under ground style heh heh heh :bigthumb: !
