Hey guys. I just got done restringing my guitar, and I get this scratchy type of a feeling when I play the guitar, especially when doing bends. Can someone tell me what's going on? I had Elixers on before, 9 gauge but I just restrung the guitar ith a different brand, but still 9 gauge strings. The bridge appears to be in the same position/height as it was when i had the Elixers on. Is this feeling because the strings are new? Help me out bros!

Sounds like some rough fret's to me...try running them over with some 0000 steel wool, see if that helps.

It might be that the strings aren't as smooth as the coated Elixir strings were. Which brand did you replace them with, and which type within that brand?

That's my first thought, too. It wasn't there before you changed the strings, I assume, and it changes when you change the type of strings that you're using. I would look at the difference in the strings as being the most likely cause of the problem.
