Active pickup installation question

Okay, I finally got a chance to install the LW-MUST set I picked up about 2 months ago, but I have a question. I see that the installation provided here does not show a ground to bridge like passives do. I went ahead and soldered the ground to bridge to the back of the volume pot like I have done on all my recent installation (Which have all been passive) but then got to thinking, "Maybe I should check with those who know more than I, so here I am.

Long and the short of it, should I get back in there and disconnect the bridge ground or just leave it as is. If I leave it, are there any consequences to doing so?

Thank you!

Re: Active pickup installation question

you do not need a bridge ground for actives as far as i know. i havent installed that specific set but i have never used a bridge ground for active pups

Re: Active pickup installation question

As a rule, EMG schematic diagrams illustrate no bridge grounding wire. Some other brands do, some of the time.
