Re: Add The Boss OS-2 To The Mod List
Kent...I had to wing it with the OS-2 because I don't have the schematic...These pedals are very similar in how they work and the boards look the same also...I just know where to make the changes from doing alot of pedal mods..I Know what works and what won't...I use the TI RC4558P chip in the SD1 and this OS-2 because I feel this chip gives the pedal more note clarity...The JRC4558D is great if you want a warmer, dirtier tone, but with higher gain stuff I don't like it as much...The RC4558P is actually a better and higher performance opamp..Kent what is "SIP"? Talk laymen's talk and stop trying to impress me! :smack:

Kent S. said:John, what is Roland going with with that SIP up in the top of the pcb?
Also what DIP did you finally decide on going with (can't see the designation)?
You wouldn't happen to have a schematic of the stock one you could e-mail me would you (you know me and collecting distortion pedal schematics) ...Thanks ...
