Addiction-fx?

Has anyone else had problems with addiction-fx lately?

The last two times I made an order with them, the transaction was cancelled with no communication from them whatsoever.

There is always a charge to me for this (small but that's not the point, it still ends up costing me money for zero return). I sent them an email asking about it and they never even bothered to respond to my enquiry.

I know there was a few days last week that their site was down. I was going to order a few magnets and I couldn't get through, but then found a stash of magnets in my tool box.

They are located in Phx AZ

I think they are defunct

I always send an email to websites to see if anyone is still there

Your charge is probably just a banking fee for trying to process the non active account

It's been many years ago, I ordered an A3 and A4 to put in a set of 59's, as per Lewguitars advise. (Where'd he go?)

They sent me an A3 A2. I have A2's as 'fridge magnets. Too late to complain now.

Well if they are defunct, there's no much more to say, but you think they would at least take down the webpage to stop wasting people's time (and money).

I've seen this a lot. A company that I have dealt with in the past leaves the site up, and I try to contact them with no response- not even an automated one saying they've closed. Do they like paying hosting fees for a store they don't run anymore, or for a domain that is useless?

If they pay for the domain and site for 3-5 years in advance, it will stay up even if the business is gone. But yeah they could have updated the contents, unless they were paying someone to do that and couldn't even afford that while heading to the exit.

I was trying to get some A6 bar magnets, and, as far as I know that was the only place I could get them without the prices or the shipping (to Spain) being outrageous.

To be honest I think I will just pass on them as it´s not the end of the world...I will probably just get rid of the pickup and replace it.

Thanks for the cermag recommendation hammerfan. They could be useful the next time I need some mags.

The site redirected to a secure site to pay via PayPal once you start ordering stuff.

I did notice that but it's now 2025. Any site with an unsecure cart ahead of payment raises a red flag for me. I work in IT and Security. That is a big nope.
