Just plug the output of your preamp into one of the 'low' inputs. It isn't exactly the same as what you're looking for, but lots of bands have done it over the years.
Best way is to dial in your amp to be ultra clean and then connect the Rockmaster into your amp. I have 3 Peavey Rockmasters and they are definitely cool. I always like a Fender-ish clean before any preamps or pedals and I try to dial the clean channel on the Rockmaster as clean as possible also.

I tried this and got terrible noise. Maybe I have been adjusting the volume and gain controls on the Rock Master or the volume controls on the Traynor wrong.

The Traynor will begin to overdrive with the volume on 2 using my SG with Seth Lovers plugged directly in. How do you suggest I adjust the Traynor and Rock Master controls? Something like Traynor volume on 1, Rockmaster to taste?
Keep the output of the preamp (Rockmaster ?) low .... you only want it to put out a signal that's about the same level as a guitar's output or maybe just a tiny bit more. Then open the amp's volume up. So basically opposite of what you propose.
What you really want is a POWER AMP input and run the PREAMP OUT of the rock master into that. An FX loop would do this. Bring it to a tech, this is not something you can do yourself.

I've only ever played one YBA-1, but it was laid out like a Fender Bassman or plexi Marshall with a high and low input for each channel. I can't say which channel will sound better, (try both) but you'll want your preamp's level to be just slightly hotter than plugging in your guitar directly. I can't say what you'll want the volume on your amp at, but you won't need a ton unless you want it really loud.
Another way to set levels is to work with the clean channel on your preamp. First set the volume on your amp loud enough to be heard, then raise the output level of your preamp until your amp just starts to break up. Then turn the preamp down until your sound is suitably clean. By running your preamp as loud as possible you'll get the best signal-to-noise ratio.

Yeah.....not sure about some of the other advice above.......you need an input jack that will feed direct to the amps phase inverter, and disconnect the (Traynor) preamp.
A few hours work for a tech.
