Advice for electric acoustic

I'm pretty sure i wanna buy a new electric acoustic guitar. I would prefer not to spend much more than $300. This would include brands like Ibanez, Dean, cheaper fenders, epiphone, etc, maybe off ebay if necessary. I was wondering if any of you had experience with these types of electric acoustics and had a recommendation thanks

I just got an ibanez ael10e. Sounds / plays great. Havent run it through the PA yet though. But the smaller bodied one I borrowed sounded great plugged in. Good info here

Yamaha makes some pretty nice acoustic electric guitars. For $300 or less you might have to find a used one, but all the ones that I've played have been excelent.

Not to sound like a pompous ass or whatever, but do they really make a good acoustic/electric in that price range? If they do, I'd go for either an Alvarez or a Yamaha. I have an acoustic electric Yamaha 12 string that's fantastic. However, when it does come to a price range in good guitars like that...I really like Alvarez's. Also, Seagull's a are a really fantastic acoustic as well. I hate the way the headstocks look, but who cares, those things sound awesome for the money you pay for them. I'm leaning towards a Seagull or an Alverez...eventhough I own a Yamaha. They're all three great bang for the buck acoustics!! Just go play some. I hope you find one ya like man.:)

Save 200 more and I think you have a lot more options.
