Advice needed quick!!

Hey guys, im just about to make a solder connection from two wires to a jack plug, and i always keep what's ground and what's "positive" on a male jack: The outer or the inner part of the plug?

I need to get this rigth since i'm wiring speakers to a jack connection.

Is the jack stereo or mono? On mono, the inner is hot, the outer is common (usually called ground). I'm not sure about stereo jacks.

The "sleeve" is always ground. Green arrows:

Thanks alot Artie . It's always nice to have pictures to look at lol . Im one of those people that would never be able to read a book that doesnt have pictures

You're welcome. I just noticed that you said "male" jack, but hopefully you were able to transpose that pic. :laugh2:
