New pole screws help even a bit more. Look for 1022 steel screws on ebay.

Interesting, how would the steel pole screws help with clarity? Are the stock screws made of a different material/alloy?

One thing I noticed is that the Seth Lover neck has a pretty high resonant peak, one of the highest among neck buckers and slightly higher even than the Jazz model (according to the old SD chart) :33:

I put a Jazz in the neck of a build recently with a Custom Custom in the bridge--totally remarkable. Serious rhythm and fantastic funk machine.
