After four e-mails back and forth between a clueless sales rep :cussing: I finally got a quote for a Tele pickguard + shipping from Warmoth. $36.50 US total. That's a little more than I wanted to spend on a piece of vinyl, so I wanted to ask the gurus here for some tips.
First question: I want to put a mini humbucker in the neck position (thanks XSSIVE for the inspiration). How difficult would it be for me to cut the existing pickguard? What tools do I use to do this?
Second question: If I wanted to put a design on the pickguard, what's the best way to do this? The pickguard is white, and I want to put a simple red emblem on there. It has to be permanent, so I'd like to avoid just slapping a sticker on there if possible.
