advice please

ok, so i was looking at the vox ad30vt a while back ... until someone told me not to sell my stuff. well, i'll sell the cab, but not my head. here's what i had in mind.

Taking the head (crate gfx1200h solid state) and converting it into a combo. this would be a homemade concoction consisting of the crate head with a Mesa Celestion Custom 90 in a 3/4 back cab (pseudo mesa design). i found all the materials and i think i can do it for around 150-175.

has anyone done this?? any advice would be a blessing.

Your friend was wrong, in my opinion. Sell every last bit of it. Then, with the money
find the head version of that Valvetronix, the AD60 or 120. Also buy a good 2-12 or 4-12 cab as cheap as possible, and you'll soon forget about all the other stuff. LOL
Seriously, upgrading cheap stuff never works out. It's better to start over.

You can get $250 for your stuff, add $300, and you'll have a much better rig.
Soundwise, looks-wise, and quality-wise.
