For sale is an Agile AL3000 Prestige in great condition. There are a few minor scratches on the back of the guitar from light buckle rash (shown in picture - Back1.jpg) and light pick grazing (Pickups3.jpg). I took really good care of this guitar - polishing, cleaning, resoldering bad solders, etc. I brought it in to my local guitar pro, and right away he was amazed at the quality of the guitar and wood used in it, but we did find a couple of things that could be improved on:
First off, the standard Agile bridge is very cheaply made and not really adjustable. We installed a Gibson Tune-O-Matic bridge right away. Also, the neck was a hair crooked so he adjusted the truss rod and now its perfect. I installed a Switchcraft pickup selector switch because the old one crackled a bit. I never really liked the muddiness of the stock neck pickup so I put in a GFS Dream 180, and this thing is great. It has nice sparkly cleans for rhythm and finger picking, but this pickup shines when a little dirty. Its basically designed around a humbucking P90, so you get that classic growl without the hum. Its great. The bridge pickup just sounds and looks cool so I left it in there. It really gives that vintage Les Paul sound. We took the Agile and made it 10x better and basically, this is what a Les Paul should be.
I've spent well over $150 in parts and labor (excluding what I did myself). I'm selling the guitar and case for $300 shipped and packed very well in its HARDSHELL CASE - I'm an experienced packer (sounds kinda queer lol). Anyone who knows about these knows that this is a hell of a deal. If you are interested, please e-mail me at bserwatka06@yahoo.com or PM me.
