Air Norton, Alt 8, SSL-1, APS-1

I've got a mess of pickups here that need to go. Ideally, I'd like to trade for the following pickups but $$ works too.

Tremspaced bridge humbuckers:

Alnico 2 pro

PATB-3

Phat Cat

or basically some kind of vintage humbucker that isn't a 59'

All of my pickups are in good shape with long leads, except the APS-1 which is an older bridge model and has short leads. I apologize for the terrible half assed photos. The color is really off on some of them.

Alt 8 (tremspaced) $55

Air Norton (standard) $40

SSL-1 SOLD

APS-1 $30

No one wants to try an Alt 8? Really fantastic pickup here!

I'm still looking for a neck p90 or a white vintage output trembucker.

I have a JB8 that I'm pretty happy with. If not, I would have taken your Alt 8. But aside from a '59 b I don't have any pups to trade.

If you want some Gibson tuners, an A/B box, or a Dod Grundge let me know.

I need that Alt 8 but am cash strapped big time. Any thing you would want to trade for ?
Rocktron Deep Blue Chorus
Bad Munky
TS-9
Dan Echo delay
Alnico II neck
1990's braid lead Carvin M22T (fantastic sounding pickup and not for sale but would trade for the Alt)
Got bunches of parts like tuners and what have you what do you need?
I'm hitting you with a PM.

I'm interested in the Air Norton, but your original price was $40 then went to $45.

Re: Air Norton, Alt 8, SSL-1, APS-1

Describe the Alt 8 please.

Its a loud pickup thats got a bloated lower mid.The bass is fairly tight, not as tight as a SH-5,but mostly big and round, and the top end is very smooth, and the best part is theres a glorious lower mids sound that really chimes with alot of modern amps.
The mids and upper mids might dissapoint of your used to a Marshall and a JB cause they are not forward in the Eq, but thats why it sounds so rich and thick and with the huge full lower end. Does that sound right? I'm an amatuer pickup critic.
IN any case, ive got a Crazy8 in my 90's MIJ Jackson Solist pro and it aint goin' anywhere..ever!
That said, Ive got another Jackson Bolt on 'Professional' in which the JB bridge is the greatest pickup ever IMO .oddlt enough I have it paired with a 36th neck.

Re: Air Norton, Alt 8, SSL-1, APS-1

Similar output to the SH-6 but sweeter toned. Same large lows and low mids for chunky palm mutes but the highs are rounded off. Its less compressed than the SH-6 with more note separation for full chords. The cleans are pretty good for a high output pickup and get better as you roll off the volume. I wouldn't call this pickup dark but I wouldn't put it in a dark guitar either. It completely RIPS for lead work and is my favorite bridge bucker for distorted tones. But the new band calls for cleaner tones so she's got to go.
