Nothing wrong with pup debates man... if they were incredibly similar what would be the point in deciding between the two? :sad:

Both of these pups are definitely candidates for my strat's bridge position if the PATB doesn't work out, leaning more towards the Air Zone. One thing I have noticed is that when people talk about liking the JB all they say is that they like it, but when people talk about the Air Zone they talk about all the reasons why they like it.

You don't have to post if you don't like the thread. Plenty of others are offering real experiences which actually help people if they're researching pickups.

Sorry, not trying to be a downer, but it bugs me when trolls try to ruin threads.

I liked both of them, so I didn't vote. The Air Zone was great for fat death metal tones like In Flames. It really rocks there (a little too fat for me, but it was great).

The JB is great for that Megadeth sound I really like. I like them both for different cases.

So far it looks like some folks like the AZ over the JB for the lack of low end. Hopefully the powers above will see this poll and do more of an inquiry on how to make this pup a little better.
