I bought this mic a couple years ago as part of a little home studio project I havce since abandoned. I never use the thing. In fact, the only time it's actually been used is at the UGD forum jam when GoMano used it to mic the kick drum. So, this is the mic you hear on those recordings.

It's the industry standard as far as kick drum mics go, but its uses don't stop there. It's also excellent on bass guitar cabinets, any extremely high SPL recording situation (I hear you can mic jet engines with this thing), and - here's a cool trick - if you have an open-backed guitar cabinet, position this mic between the backs of your speakers in addition to your usual micing scheme to get a HUGE low-end that you can mix into your sound.

The mic is in perfect condition. The box, however, as you can see, is a little crushed because it was manhandled at the airport when I took it to UGD (thank goodness for the foam insert!)

Included is the mic, its clip, its clip's adaptor (in case your mic stand has a smaller threading), the box, and the manual.

I'm asking $125 shipped and insured for you folks here in the US. For anyone outside the US, we'll negotiate shipping later if you're interested.

Help a bro out, buy this mic! (upper lefthand corner of my toilet, and Schick Quattro razor not included)

I'll shoot my drummer a message and see if he's interested. We bought a Nady set, but he's upgraded to an SM57 for his snare, maybe he'll be interested in this
