Alembic epic fretless bass, pup suggestion's please

Been offered an Alembic Epic fretless bass (1998) for a very fair price, however it has been striped of all pups and hardware. Pup's suggestions please, Keeping in mind I would like to rebuild this as a stereo bass, 2 passive pup's no actives! The one in the photo is NOT the one Im picking up just an example.images.jpg

Wow, very cool! Kind of an odd pickup size...you can look at the soapbar pickup pages, and each of those should list the dimensions of the pickup in a pdf file. Measure the size of those routes exactly.

Agggg! Never mind he sold it out under me!! Didn't even come to me for a bid.......

Oh man, and that was a cool one. Most Alembics are out of reach for most musicians.

Yes. I had a chance to buy a really nice one back in 1990 for a grand and I balked. The next week it sold to another guy here in town (and he still plays it onstage once in a blue moon).

Thats $1931 today adjusted for inflation, so still a whole bunch of dough... most used alembics are even more for some reason I won't pretend to understand, but with ~$2k today you can still get pretty much whatever style bass you want.
