Helo. I have and ibanez s 770 pb with a neck 59 (one conductor), ssl 5 rwrp in the middle and a JB(4 conductor). My guitar has a 5 way switch. My cuestion is if its good to combinate all the humbucker with the middle single coiln in positions 2 and 4. Its sound good? Or is better to split the humbucker when its combinated with the single coil?. I know tha the neck 59 with one conductor It cant be split (at least not in a easy way) thanks for the help!!!

I have a HSH strat with 2x Gibson 490R and a middle single. The 2/4 positions sound ok actually - kind of a cross between the Gibson style 'cluck' in the middle position and the strat 'quack' (as you'd expect).
Yours will sound a lot hotter of course, but only you will ever be able to say whether it is good.

Hi,
Both my Strats have HSH, SH-2 Jazz in neck, '69 Fender S.Coil in middle, and Seth Lover in the bridge. My Tele is set up with a 8K bridge HBucker and a Strat '69 in middle of pickgaurd ( a custom cut-a pain in the butt for me, digging a hole for a Strat pup, I need new tools ). They are beautiful in 2 & 4, and 1 & 2 In my Tele. If you use a Lower output HBucker ( 9K or lower ) in all these guitars with a 6K or so single Coil, you can get a reasonable "Quack" out of them. Not perfect, but very very close. I tried a wiring I made up (meaning I was winging it, millions must have tried this). I put a '69 5.9K or so, very low output, singlecoil in the neck, and the Seth in the bridge, no middle pickup, and it is-together, a beautiful sound, different, Hendrix Studio sound. I really love it. Makes for a very velvet like rhythm sound-neck and bridge together.
Well. Time to stop repeating myself.
