I'm trying to afford the same, too.

The Toneriders in my Strat are good but too thin, so I want some smoother, hotter single coils here. I'll eventually pop some Duncans here, even if it's more expensive.

And my Ibanez will have a Duncan on the neck too, alongside the Screamin' Demon that will arrive tomorrow. :D

I just love SD pickups.

In Dimarzios' defense, Breeds are SOULMATES for basswood bodies. And you can't hate the lower price either!

I had a Breed in a RG1550 for a long time.
Overall it sounded unbelievably good, so I agree.
Definitely my #1 choice for a basswood guitar.
