What with NGDs, destroying (lol), an Orville, Epis, etc., I cracked. I hope it's all I'm looking for. It's a bit scary buying a geet without any play time, but the pics are numerous and fantastic and I like the description layout. Hopefully, by possibly this weekend or early next week:

Burny RLC cool black finish
Made in Japan

The finish has turned to Cool Vintage white finish

Those japanese guitar builders are amazing! They've managed to make a poly finish that Fades to White. Must be some kind of anti-metallica establishment.

I have a 1982 Fernandes LP, which is the same as a Burny, they came out of the same factory i believe. It's a great guitar ... I don't think you'll be disappointed. Quite the opposite actually.

That one looks great, and my understanding is that the VH1 pickups are the desireable ones. Looking forward to hearing about it when it arrives.

Awesome!! I LOVE my 80s Burny!! Ive always heard the VH1 pups are pretty good. Mine didnt come with them..

Yeah, your thread and our PMs got me gassing, even if I wouldn't admit it. I don't know about the nut. I'll check it out when it gets here and if it does, it'll get one. That said, you can work wonders to an old, crappy one with a set of files and a tube of Big Bends...

My prefernce is for ebony LPC's, but the white ones are pretty nice too. Hey, as long as it's a LPC.

Honestly, I love my black one but my GAS became uncontrollable for a sec. I like both...but pretty much ONLY the white and black ones. The other ones are cool but those are iconic, IMHO.
