There are several (of course).
1st up: ESP LTD SC-607B in gloss natural

27" scale seven string, EMGs, reverse headstock, & it's not black. (I'm not big on black guitars, yet two of my four are black. Go figure.) I also dig the middle placement up the "neck" pickup; I normally never use them, because they muddy the sound up too much for my tastes. Having it more like a middle pup in a 3-pup setup strikes me as more usable for my preferences. The dislike is the autograph on the fretboard; I like the Deftones, but not enough to be buying Stephen Carpenter guitars for that reason.
2nd: ESP Viper 400 in white

I'm not an SG fan, but this thing is badass in white w/EMG's & black hardware. (I'm no big ESP fan, either, yet I want two.) Dislikes are the 24.75" scale, & the flag inlays are kinda lame. I'd also prefer a string-through body bridge, but none of those things would stop me from buying one.
3rd: Jackson DKMG Dinky in transparent black

Remember my earlier comment about black guitars? I take it back, this thing looks KILLER. It's the trans finish; plain ol' black would do nothing for me. I'm also not quick to want another FR-equipped guitar, because restringing or changing tunings is a hassle. But, I do not own an axe with the FR/EMG combo yet, so there's my justification. Also, w/out the whammy it's essentially the same guitar as my Schecter C-1 Hellraiser, so that would be boring.
4th: Fender Standard HSS in 2-tone sunburst w/maple fretboard

Who doesn't like a classic? This way, I can have my retro vibe along with a bridge humbucker. I'm not interested in a single coil bridge axe (except for this weird Tele thing that hits me every so often), though I would enjoy fooling around with the middle & neck single coils. Gotta have a maple fretboard, just because everything else I own is rosewood. If I bought this, I would order a hardtail bridge & at least a new SD 'bucker at the same time (if not order replacements for all three).
Last but not least, a Spector Legend Classic 4 string in bubinga:

(pic shows 6 string, but correct finish)
I need a four string. I tune my guitars to drop-C, & right now, I tune my 5 string bass up to match (CGCFA). Once I have a 7 string guitar, I'll retune that bass back to a more typical setup, & use the 4 string with the 6 string axes. I've loved Spectors since I first started seeing them in the 80's. Also, when my wife bought me my Schecter bass, she got a Spector case with it by mistake. So when I order this, I'll specify a Schecter case to make things right.
So there you have it, doctors. Can I be cured?
