Pretty much any where in the usa In nevada we have a few very poisonous ones and more then a few huge ass ones. The biggest I've ever seen was the size of a silver doller

Biggest spiders I can come up with are slightly more than one inch big, LOL

I've seen a few up here in the mountains of Co that would play Goliath to your little David, but you're right in that if it's crawling up your arm, it's freekin HUGE!!
