Alnico 2 in Full Shred bridge

A few months ago I installed a Full Shred in the bridge of my Schecter Blackjack ATX C-1, and while it does sound good I feel like its missing something. In the past I've really enjoyed the sound of alnico 2 humbuckers and they generally compliment my playing style well, particularly the Alnico 2 Pro and the Custom Custom. So I was curious if anyone had tried putting an A2 magnet into a Full Shred. I've not found alot on the forums on this topic, and what I have found has generally shifted topics in the thread without really giving a clear answer. Thanks in advance.

Note: I'm playing through a Peavey 6505+,

Re: Alnico 2 in Full Shred bridge

Should be like a slightly brighter & tighter Custom Custom. I think they use the same coils, so the difference would be due to the hex screws.

Which will shift the resonant peak upwards fairly significantly.

I've said it elsewhere, if I had an extra Full Shred to tweak I'd yank 600 ohms of winds off of one coil and replace one row of hex bolts with long fillisters. The magnet would likely end up being either a RUA5 or RA5.
