HI everyone i need help more than you imagine. I have a Gibson LPJ 2014 and recently i purchase the new alnico 2 pro slash pickups for my guitar. (one year ago i do the sema thing for my Epiphone less paul standard and i installed them with no problem with soldering kit) but the thing is that this new guitar that i have comes with Gibson Quick Connect System, if you dont know what it is its a system symilar to the liberator that releases us for solder problems, that way if you want to change pickups in your guitar you only have to do its disconnect your old pickups and connect new ones.

But here is the problem the alnico II pro slash puckups are single coil and they dont have the connection to this new quick connect system and i don know how to do this instalation. please help me cuz i love these new pickup sound but i cant install them.

Mouser sells the connectors their called molex connectors. Gibson uses a few different ones that ive seen I would need a picture to be able to give a more specific recommendation of the connector. Alternatively you can junk the gibson pcb and pots and install new pots along with your pickups. I actually prefer this route as the gibson pots are meh quality and usually 300k.

I would swap out the pots and put in new ones, but I know how to solder and I'm a little old fashioned.

Ok thank you very mutch but i have 2 questions; how do i know what molex connector do i have to buy (can i post a picturo in this forum for you tu see them) and the pther quiestion its: about the 300k, if you go to gibson.com and search teh LPJ 2014 you see in specs of the guitar that the electronics are 500k it says Type 500K Non-Linear so if i swap that system and buy new pots to do the installation in the old way what do i need to buy (i know how to solder but about pots and caps i dont know very mutch)

Most people use 500K Audio taper pots (long shaft for a Les Paul). Capacitors are .022 uF.

If you want to go crazy with high end components, I know a lot of people like their stuff.
