This is some very competent, fresh, tasteful prog-rock, man.
The playing, composition, and vocals are great! It's catchy and compelling without being formulaic at all. I really like it! I would definitely listen to this recreationally.
You guys are really good. I had no idea you were in a band that rocked this hard. Inspiring. I have a whole new level of respect for you.

So tell us about your band. A lot of the other music on your soundclick page is very, very different from the two tracks you posted. What's up with that? Who's doing the singing?

Yeah, the band High Five Family is my other band, all the other songs are theirs. I just used the same soundclick account to upload the rock songs.
The 2 songs posted above is my rock band, Klopek. My avatar is our first album cover.
I am the main singer for both bands, my wife sings harmony and lead in the High Five Family band as well.
Klopek: Me, the other guitarist and the drummer have been playing together for over 10 years. Started playing covers in 99; Weezer mostly. Slowly evolved into what I loosely refer to as alterna-prog rock. We like to jam, have a pop sensibility, and rip solos. I wish we were more active but we're all at very busy points in our lives.
The two songs I put up are from our last recording we did about a year ago. I sang all melody and most of the harmony, and both solos are me as well.
Glad you enjoyed it. We should definitely murder a crowd some day.

You got your band name from the neighbors in The Burbs, didn't you?
