After all that smack I was talking about the bad monkey, I have come to the conclusion that I like it. it really plays well with my ESP. Just can't put the bad monkey and my Ibanez in the same sandbox, which is why the Ibie is back on dry dock. It's probably gonna go through a pickguard/pick-up change in the near future. '59's baby!!!

's 'bout time, Greggo.

You'd have loved it sooner if you test drove Franklin.

Of course, then you'd have a bad Case of Amp GAS and have to contact one Scott_F for your custom order.:D

and that, my friend, is why I'm waiting. I want to get a blues Junior first so I have a reason not to order a franklin. I just can't spend the money right now on a franklin.

when I'm ready to run stereo, I'll get a franklin for the other side.

Ya know...some gear...it just doesn't jibe.

It doesn't make it bad gear, it just means that it doesn't work in that context.

Glad you got the chance to find something that works well for you.

thanks bro, the thing is that I was working on my ibanez while checking out the bad monkey. so that's all I was willing to give it at the time. but now that I've got my Ibie intonated and stuff, I ran it through with my ESP. it also helps to realize the "Purpose" of equipment before judging it. I was able to get my little 10 watt ibanez amp to sound similar to my old singer's Ampeg Reverbrocket 212.
