Alternative 8 magnet size?

Can any of you tell me if the Alt8 is a double thick mag like the Distortion, or regular thickness like everything else??

It's been a while since I installed mine, but as I recall, it has a standard thickness A8 in it.

Only the ceramics come in double thick if its an alnico its standard thickness

One of the dimensions diagrams on the site shows it as the thick magnet, like the distortion. I wanna try it in my Charvel, but it's direct mount, and the standard JB trembucker is about as close to the strings as I can go. Thanks for the input folks!

Can you add some wood shims under the pickups? Thats how P90's are mounted.

Sorry, I meant the standard depth trembucker is really close, so if it had s thick magnet, id be almost hitting the strings. I don't really want to chisel wood out of this guitar.
