Get it retubed/biased with EL34's. You'll both be amazed at the difference in sound. Those amps don't sound that great with 5881's, IMO/IME. EL34's all the way.

Agreed.... I have a 50W combo 900 that was just retubed with EL34's (they were almost in her for 10 years!!) and it sounds awesome now!
