I love reverb, and consider it a must have, b/c most of my playing is at home. The reverb adds a little ambiance.
I was a bit shocked this weekend at the LGS when I tried a RI twin reverb. With everything at 6-7 and reverb at 2-3, I just couldn't help but think that it sounded awful! I fiddled with the dials and wound up turning it off.
What made things worse is that I fell in love with a DSL w/4x12 on the clean channel.:smack:
I've heard preferences change, but sheesh!
