I don't really NEED a LP, I have 3 already of varying types, it's just that the trade came up and it perked my interest

I took the V to 70s/80s Rock band practice last night and really got into playing it again :bigthumb:

The BKP Riff Raff in the bridge worked really well with the SLO clone for the stuff we do. I normally use my Splawn with this band but I was in a rush and picked the wrong amp up.

I wouldn't do it myself, simply because I like the V a lot, but I find the other guitar absolutely hideous and embarrassing. But that's me, not you. If you like the LTD better, then do it. It's a square trade IMO. Just get the case along with it, for sure. That's B.S. that the guy will only include it if its a cash sale. If he won't agree, just pass.

Yep, he really annoyed me when he said that about the case! It's not as if hard cases for V's are cheap either, and I was going to include that in the deal.

Ah well, after playing the V for the last few days it's not going anywhere

It's still not as comfortable for me to play as a Strat (or similar) or a Les Paul, but I'm slowly getting more used to it.
