AM Radio on my Tube Amp

I'm getting AM Radio signal playing through my new Bad Cat Mini Cat. I can actually hear the radio. Is this what's called microphonic? What causes this and what should I do? Thanks

No, it's calle radio interference.
You can try plugging your amp into a different circuit, for starters.

I saw Hot Tuna years ago when Poppa John Creech played with them. His amp was getting a local station between songs and he was having a ball dancing ot the radio tunes. It was pretty amusing...or maybe it was what we were smoking :laugh2:

Do you have a wah pedal connected between your guitar and amp? They are notorious for picking up radio signals.

a Weezer song called "falling for you" on their album Pinkerton (pretty sure its falling for you, 95% sure), picked up a radiostation durring the intro. funny thing was, it was an oriental woman and it fit the album and song perfectly and they kept it!
